Symposium: Perspectives of Raman Imaging in Materials Research

November 17, 2017, The University of Manchester, National Graphene Institute, Booth Street East, Manchester M13 9PL

This symposium will give a detailed introduction to the operational principles and instrumental configurations relevant to confocal Raman imaging along with correlative techniques (e. g. AFM, SNOM, and SEM). Our speakers from academic and industrial institutions will cover various aspects of Raman imaging and their fields of application while a hands-on session will provide a practical overview of confocal Raman microscopy. Speakers from WITec will demonstrate the latest advances in hardware and software development.

During the one-day event the participants will have sufficient time for in-depth discussions and close interaction with leading scientists and users of WITec microscope systems.

Scientists interested in chemically identifying and imaging the compounds of a sample at the highest spatial resolution are invited to participate.

Sorry, registration for this WITec Symposium is already closed!
